Channels Guide

Channels are the core way of interacting with Bellatrix One. Learn how to manage and configure channels effectively.

Channel Types

There are 2 types of channels available, with a third coming soon:

Slack Channels

A Slack channel is connected to a conversation or group chat in your Slack account. Bellatrix One can answer questions or invoke tools within the chat.

Gateway Channels

A Gateway channel is a single point of entry to Bellatrix One through a private MCP server. It provides access to all of the designated tools through a single connection. The tools are used with your own agent through a MCP client such as Claude Desktop or Cursor.ai.

Creating Channels

  1. Navigate to the channels section
  2. Click "Create New Channel"
  3. Choose your channel type (Slack or Gateway)
  4. Select Apps and Users to include
  5. Save and activate
